Airport pick-up

Apologies in advance if this has been posted before, I searched without much success.

Shortly coming to Tbilisi on business, and can%26#39;t wait. Heard so many great things from colleagues.

Anyway much as I enjoy a local taxi, like most my flight arrives at oh-late thirty so I am wondering how easy it is to book a private car pick-up?

Also, enjoyed taking street taxis before in Moscow; how is the scene for that in Tbilisi?

You can get the street Taxies anytime you like without any problems, almost like in Moscow, I think.

Mainly all plains arrive early in the morning to the Tbilisi Airport, a lot of people will be around and a lot of Taxi drivers trying to get customers.

There are recognized taxis that serve Tbilisi Airport. They have a flat rate of GEL25 ($17) to the centre of Tbilisi.

I get the feeling normal taxis sound like more fun, and there%26#39;s plenty of them available.

It does seem odd that so many flights arrive in the middle of the night, but I guess the place must be busy enough, so - normal cab it is!

Now it%26#39;s the %26#39;drinking wine from a horn%26#39; with my customer that%26#39;s getting me keyed up . . .

Pretty much all the flights are at some ungodly hour in the morning because it is the last stop before the plane turns around and heads back to wherever it came from. Tbilisi airport is small and not a hub to anywhere else.

But as stated before, there are always a lot of people in the airport and you should have no trouble getting a cab.
