Batumi Flights

I wonder if there is any flight to Batumi or any other city of Rep of Georgia from INDIA.

ANY one can suggest direct/stop over flight to batumi/georgia from india as we plan to go there in oct06 in a group of 30to 40 persons.

we look for cheapest flight .

I also plan to visit Batumi during October 2006. from Chennai.

I understad that from mumbai TurkishAirlines fly to Trabzon a city in Turkey via Istanbul and from Trabzon we can hire a bus/mini bus which we will take three hours to reach Batumi.

i feel that This mode is more economical and time saving then land at Tibilisi and to take one more flight to Batumi.

Food I believe we need to carry tinned packed from india if we are more keen to have home food.
