Ping Mr. Sporran

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your recent compliments. You actually posted on my birthday. We spent the night of the 26th in the Ambasadori night club then at midnight went back to the Hangar. At 9 minutes past 12 Rebecca poured more Kazbegi than she had for the whole weekend.

Why 9 minutes past 12..??

That%26#39;s actually the time I was born and apparently I was the first registered birth in England on that day in 1950.

(I bet you always wanted to know that)

C_B,

Belated Happy Bithday!!

Is the Ambasadori club part of the hotel? Just a wee bit of research before we visit again. We both miss the place and look forward to returning some day. The world%26#39;s such a small, yet large, place. Hope that makes some sense.

Tbilisi, and Georgia, are fantastic!

I should get a job for the Tourist Board. ;-)

Ping Mr. Sporran

How you doing Caicos Boy?

Belated happy birthday as well!!

Sounds like you had a good birthday, hope all is well in Tbilisi

I saw the photos on the Hangar Bar website of the Scottish Invasion, I saw Mr %26amp; Mrs Sporran and someone else in one photo, I am unsure if the 3rd person in the photo is yourself C_B as the person is standing side on

Unfortunately I saw a photo of myself as well!!

Loitering in the background of one of the photos wearing a Georgian hat!!

I miss Tbilisi a lot as well and I am definitely going to return as well, myself and my mate who I was with in Tbilisi were talking about the trip at the weekend……….. Ahhh memories!!!

I am still in touch nearly every day with quite a few people that I met on the trip, I am going to come back for a visit soon hopefully, trying to get time off work just now is hard and when I go back to Tbilisi I would like to go for a week or so because its so far away

Changing the subject slightly, are you going on any of the Scotland trips in September Mr Sporran?

We’ve booked up for Macedonia, don’t think I’ll be going to Iceland as the trips are too close together

All the best

Lucas

Lucas......

How%26#39;s it going? Last time I saw you was on our last night in Tbilisi, I think. Me and Gail went to the Hangar bar and it was surreal. There was a Billy Connolly DVD on.

Feck that.

A few words with Rebecca and the place was bouncing again. Remember Faace fae Dingwall and his megaphone?

What a great night.

Unfortunately, not going to either Macedonia or Iceland due to work restrictions on holidays.

We%26#39;re going to NYC in July as a 2nd prize.

Hope to see you soon. Are you going to the Croatia game at Hampden? Our local for home games is the Corona in Shawlands. Its very popular now. A cracking atmosphere. I%26#39;m sure our paths will meet again.

C_B, cheers for the e-mails, even the p*sh ones. They cheer me up at times. You%26#39;re a good friend, and that%26#39;s not ignored.

Hope to see you soon. Regards to Billy and Rebecca, too.

Alex

Hi Alex and Gail,

Thanks for your kind compliments and we look forward to seeing you again in Tbilisi. Please wait until it gets a bit warmer. It%26#39;s really freezing here now.

Actually I was with Rebecca and Billy last night in the Hangar and the Tartan Army was mentioned as we tried to remember everyones name. We also had lashings of:

';When you hear the noise of the Tartan Army Boys';....

I can imagine that outside of Scotland Keti and the other girls are about the only ones who know all the words off by heart. Mind you they listened to it enough times.

Cheers for now

C_B
