Airport Taxi

I will be arriving in Tbilisi next week at 3:00am. Do you have any helpful suggestions for getting a taxi or is it a relatively straightforward process?

Also, I will be staying at the Marriott at Freedom Square. Will the taxi drivers understand me when I tell them the name of the hotel or should I get it translated into Georgian?

with taxi there is no problem - airport taxis are 24hour nearby, they have fixed tariff - 25Gel (=18$), just they can ask for more, but it%26#39;s enough

or you can order taxi previously and they will meet you, with the board with your name

if you like, you can change money directly in airport, but there will be no problem to pay in USD

Drivers will understand the name of hotel, just say that you need Courtyeard Marriott, as there are 2 marriot hotels at the city center (another one is called as ';Tbilisi marriott';, on Rustaveli avenue, which starts on Freedom Square)

Freedom square in georgian is ';Tavisuplebis moedani';, you can remember it also :)
