I have been in Batumi with a few friends late July just before the war erupted a week later. It was a true adventure to walk from our Turkish Airlines aircraft to the terminal building due to the heavy rain. We did not cancel our city walk with the pretext of rain and enjoyed the Coast Park and the Caf茅 at the luxury hotel near it. We are lucky that it wasn%26#39;t raining as we wanted to see the show at the Music Fountain. We had to walk a lot to reach there on time before the show started, almost noone could understand English, many could Turkish though.

Yes, If you get the rain in Batumi - then it will be cats and dogs (as any other seaside cities)!
about english - you must ask the young people, most of them speak this language, especially in such a high season as end of July (from the end of July to the end of August Tbilisi becomes almost smaller than Batumi by population based there :)))). about Turkish - to be honest, I do not know
